Life Skill

Nowadays, life skill belongs to one of the important thing in human life. Brolin (1989), Life skills arrange a variety of knowledge and ability that are needed for a personality to function effectively and to avoid interruptions of employment experience. From this opinion, I can summarize that life skill is very necessary for all people in the world in order to have a good personality. There are some important aspects of the life skill such as value to our self, having a full attention, focus, recall, imagining, and reasoning. After we know the aspect of the life skill, now we are going to recognize the meaning of them.

Firstly, having value for our self means that we can analyzing our self from a number of dissimilar angles, and by screening our self in these different angles, we will be gifted of having a better knowledge of who we is, and we will also be able to develop into the personal that we want to be. Secondly, if we can expand the talent to put our complete being into everything we are doing, we will become practiced at everything we do, and e will have the benefit of the beauty of every moment. Not only our business relations will be developing, but so our individual relationships become well. Third, focus and the attention span could be consideration of as siblings. To be successful in today's world, we must study how to focus on the equipment that matter to us.

Fourth, our brains are greater than any computer on the world. Up till now, most of us not succeed to control the full potential of our imaginative capabilities. Our memory is one of the most significant functions or our brains. Fifth, Imagination is an ability which allows us to think in new customs, to approach up with new ideas or to combine two or more different ideas which allow us to create totally new concepts. Sixth, reasoning is attached to the ability to improve the recall, as well as imagination. Reasoning is directly attached to discrimination. If we can find out from any knowledge, we will greatly develop this skill.

This is the example of creative person in Indonesia. Haryanti, who started her trade by selling many unique accessories that made by “Batok Kelapa”. There are many kinds of accessories that she made such as bracelet, belt, and bag. She began her work with her husband, Sunadi. Haryanti and Sunadi are never giving up reaching their victory in their company. As the result, they become one of many creative peoples who are success by hard working. This is the real proof that gives us a lesson that to be successful, we must be creative and never give up.

In family life, parent must train their child to be a creative person. It is very advantageous to give child some things of ability such as getting the picture and mastering their self, social abilities, maintaining to the environment, and to be a person who have mastering and loving their work. After I read the articles in the PDF file, I got some knowledge dealing with life skill that inspiring me. The story from some people in that article was make me interest to be a creative person. The story dealing with some peoples those never give up to be successful in their life.
